Erin Kingland, MS, NCC





Education: Erin received her Master's of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling at Minnesota State University, Mankato (CACREP accredited). She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology with focus on mental health services and human development and family studies from South Dakota State University.


Background: Erin has previous experience working in childcare with children ages 6-18 as well as serving undergraduate students in transitioning to college and adulthood. She is completing her practicum and internship here at MMFTC. When she is not working or in class, Erin enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and dog.


Focus and Approach: Erin currently provides services to individuals, couples, families, and other relationship structures. Her therapeutic approach is intersectional, strengths based, and collaborative. She utilizes scientific approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
